About Us

The Association for Higher Education Research is a scholarly umbrella organization dedicated to the dissemination of research work by those in the higher education community, or with a vested interest therein. This mission is accomplished through our two sister societies: the International Society of Business Disciplines (ISOBD) and the Society for Teaching, Educational Leadership and Administration (STELA). As the name indicates, ISOBD’s focus is on business and closely-related fields such as economics, sociology, political science, etc. STELA’s purpose is to provide a scholarship outlet for those in the education and administration areas.
